We want every stay at Spanish Valley Cottages to be comfortable, clear, and free of surprises. The policies below outline what guests can expect before and during their visit.
All policies listed on this page are provided as a transparency draft and are subject to final review and confirmation by the new ownership prior to the site going live. Do not treat any item on this page as a finalized or binding policy until this notice is removed.
Stay Policies
These are the essential guidelines that apply to every cottage at Spanish Valley Cottages.
- No Smoking — Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the cottages, on the covered porch, or anywhere on the property.
- No Pets — Pets are not allowed at Spanish Valley Cottages.
- Check-In — After 3:00 PM.
- Check-Out — By 10:00 AM.
- Self Check-In — All cottages use self check-in. Arrival instructions will be provided prior to your stay.
- Quiet Hours — 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighboring guests during these hours.
- Maximum Occupancy — Four guests per cottage. This limit is strictly enforced.
Accessibility & Access Notices
Cottage Entry
Three steps are required to enter each cottage. Guests with limited mobility or step-access needs should consider this when selecting accommodations.
Loft Access
Each cottage features a loft bedroom accessed by a narrow staircase. The loft may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations, young children, or those who are uncomfortable on steep stairs.

Additional Fees & Cancellation

Cleaning Fee
A standard cleaning fee applies to all reservations. The specific amount will be displayed at the time of booking.Damage Fee
Guests are responsible for any damage to the cottage, furnishings, or property during their stay. A damage assessment may be charged after checkout if applicable.Smoking Violation Fee
A fee will be assessed if evidence of smoking is found inside the cottage or on the covered porch at checkout.Occupancy Overage Fee
Exceeding the maximum occupancy of four guests per cottage without prior written authorization may result in additional charges or immediate cancellation of the reservation.Late Checkout Fee
Guests who do not vacate the cottage by 10:00 AM on their checkout date may be charged a late checkout fee.
